important information
The Council for the Professions Complementary to Medicine protects the public by regulating 20 health care professions in Malta and keeps a Register for each profession for all those individuals who reach the required standards.
The Council consists of 12 members (made up of 10 Registrants, and 1 lay member) led by the Chair- person. It is supported by statutory and non-statutory professionals who are appointed by the same Council and form sub-committee groups to evaluate the qualifications of EU and Non-EU individuals wanting to practice in Malta.
Once the Council has assessed and confirms that the individual meets all the necessary criteria a final Certificate is awarded for registration.
